This week we picked up 3 new investigators. That has been really good. I am excited to begin teaching again.
So this conversation happened recently:
(knock on door)
ME "Hi we are missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we have a message..."
(cutting me off)
LADY "Oh! The Mormons! Is that who you are?"
MY COMPANION "Yeah"
LADY (turning to me) "So how many wives do you have?"
ME "None..."
LADY "Oh! So how many does your father have then?"
(Face palm)
Well, I hope that all is well in the USA... We hear all about it from people on the street. Good times.
We visited your family in Utah and had a great time getting humbled at Dutch Blitz by your Mom. Everyone was really busy and your Dad and Jason were ripping up the floor....literally. It's starting to get cold there. Here in Mesa it is perfect....finally!
