Letter from Elder Eisert - October 14th, 2013

Last Tuesday, Elder Peterson and I were tracting in an area with a lot of apartments. It was that last hour of the night where there is not a whole lot to be done other than what we were doing. We had done a lot of tracting throughout the day, and we were both tired. We decided to do "1 last opgang" and the first door that we ran into was this Bosnian lady that was very interested in what we had to offer. We gave her a Book of Mormon and a card and made an appointment for Thursday. When we went on Thursday, the inner Scandinavian-missionary-stereotype us said "Ah, she was probably drunk. She wont even remember that we had an appointment." When we got to the place, it turned out that she had remembered, and that she had even made us lunch! She made us Bosnian food, and she even had cheesecake for dessert. You know they are always solid when they bring cheesecake. We taught her the message of the Restoration, and we made another appointment for the next week. We committed her to read 3 Nephi 11.

So... Burger King is in Denmark and you know how their trademarked phrase is "Have it your way" ? Well, because Denmark is a socialist country the people actually cannot have it their own way and so their trademarked phrase here is "It tastes good." Yes.

Well, That's about it for this week!
